GUZAARISH (2010)

After reading some horrible reviews,i never wanted to watch this movie....but to my surprise ,this movie was clearly SLB's best directorial effort till date. Finally, we have a movie to appreciate by heart. I was so much satisfied when i came out of the cinema hall. With no unpractical things happening out there, the movie deserves only one word, marvelous..!!Another best part that I would like to share is that post climax the final laughter, you might not feel the effect immediately but when you leave the auditorium and think for a minute, you would feel the a Deep Impact of the movie, the characters, performances and the climax !!!! Hrithik has raised the bar for himself after this performance. His eyes does all the talking and he has completely gone under the skin of the character. Aishwarya, as usual, does justice to her character....but i was really disappointed with her clothes and her red lipstick throughout the movie.Loved the movie....pls do watch without any expectations!!!

DEVIL (2010)

I cant tell u how much i really enjoyed watching this movie..and definitely would watch this again if i get a chance.I must say Night Syamalan is back with a bang. After watching 'The last Airbender', I took a pledge that would be the last time I'm ever gonna pay to watch any movie, Night Syamalan is involved in. But today I broke my promise as I watched 'Devil'. And actually, I was not at all disappointed. In fact, I liked it. All right, I would say it...I loved this movie.
Night Syamalan has come up with a strong and interesting story. The plot looks so simple at the beginning, but it moves on, suspense unveils in a scary, yet logical fashion. The linking between all characters is portrayed in a very effective way. Nothing is ever a coincidence.
Direction is good. Acting is decent. Cinematography is appreciable, especially the wide variety of camera angles and frames attempted to portray a simple elevator as some claustrophobic scary machine. Sound effects are captivating.
I'm already waiting for his next flick!!!

FLAT(2010)

I wondered why children were allowed to this movie....and the answer was there was nothing that scared even them. And Why do all Indian horror films seem to be a desi take of either The Ring or The Grudge series? In short, why is there always a wailing woman with hair all over her face, leaving you staring into one barely visible eye. Scared are we? Sanjay Suri and Jimmy Sheirgill are a pair of fine actors who can deliver, provided they have something to deliver. But the movie is a real waste of time.....Boring is the verdict.

VA (QUARTER CUTTING-2010)

The story takes place during one night and basically there are only three characters. Its story revolves around a guy who comes to Chennai on a dry day when liquor shops are closed and he is going to fly to Saudi Arabia in a few hours time and his quest is to have one last ‘quarter cutting’!! On the whole, Va Quarter Cutting is a big letdown, despite having some of the best comic actors. The film is too long, and very bad script. The second half, in particular, is an endurance test for its silliness. There is nothing much that amuses me watching this movie!!!

MYNAA (2010)

The only assurance from the Myna movie director,Prabhu Solomon, is that his film will not disappoint the audience. The entire movie gives us the feeling of travelling in forest and thrilling encounters keeping the audience on the edges of their seats.Comedy is closely knitted with the storyline. A must watch and thumbs up!!!!

GOLMAAL 3 (2010)

 Golmaal is back again!
This is the punch line of the movie and yeah, the real Golmaal is back after the dull and boring sequel Golmaal 2. This time director Rohit Shetty introduced emotional sequence .Acting wise, Mithunda is excellent. He willingly spoofs himself from his superstar days, and gets each movement right. Ajay does very well as the hot-headed hero. Kareena plays the tomboy with ease. Tusshar repeats his act nicely. Kunal Khemu is good, while Arshad Warsi appears over-weight, but fun.On the whole, Golmaal 3 is fun, it makes you laugh and cry, at the correct places. Watch it to have good time!!!

SKYLINE(2010)

What happened to english movies???This movie is part Independence day, part Clover Field and 100% hilarious. The story line started to get a little interesting when the credits started rolling out. The special effects were great and can't argue there. This is easily the worst movie I've seen this year. It's saying something when the writing is so bad that even an end-of-the-world alien invasion can't stop boring you senseless.
I'm a big sci-fi fan, but I honestly can't remember the last time I was this bored in the theater despite a few moments of great special effects. Avoid this movie at all costs....a serious advice!!!

UTHAMA PUTHIRAN(2010)

Dhanush  haS earlier worked in couple of remakes ‘Yaaradi Nee Mohini’ and ‘Kutty’. With one of them being a grand success and another as an average, he is back in action with yet another remake entertainer. ‘Uthama Puthiran’ is a remake of yesteryear Telugu blockbuster titled ‘Ready’. The Tamil remake proves to be an good family entertainer laced with romance, comedy, family, sentiments and drama.
But when u compare the telugu version ,dhanush's  acting is really bad..with no expressions..he looks sick!!!The first half is boring..while the second half is managable because of vivek!!!On the whole the movie is above average and can be watched once.

ACTION REPLAYY(2010)

‘Action replay’ is an unusual love story that unfolds backwards in time and thus taking the life to 70s. Akshay has put in a lot of hardwork, but the movie seems to be another average for the star due to poor script, screenplay, music. Ash age is showing up .Moreover, story is flat.Rajpal Yaadav , Neha Duphia, Om Puri & Kirron Kher are passable. Music is ordinary. One of the main problem with Action Replay is that the jokes are too silly. Veteran Randheer Kapoor with the role of scientist is ok but special effects could have been better.Well, in nutshell, the movie is of average class and if you are done with the diwali crackers and sweets and still have nothing to do – go watch Action Replay.

ANJANA ANJANI(2010)

The movie is about 2 strangers who meet accidentally on a bridge, since both have decided to commit suicide. Generally, couples in love commit to die for each other, but in this film, romance blossoms much, after the two meet at the bridge for the first time. From strangers to lovers to strangers again is how the film explores the relationship between ranbir and priyanka.First 10 to 20 Minutes you will expect a different movie, then comes the most boring scenes . It will check your temper till interval. Post Interval there are a few good scenes. Whatever happening in the name of Comedy will make you feel to walk away from theater, are just torturing. Most of the scenes are predictable. But the movie can watched for the chemistry between Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra

Khaleja (2010)

Mahesh Khaleja, with all its hype was one of the most awaited films in Tollywood. Having missed him for three years my curiosity to watch this movie was even more...Though the movie did not reach the Very High Expectations, It projected the new angle in Mahesh. Trivikram had his mark in direction and dialogues.Action Sequences in the movie were very Excellent. The Picturization of Various locations in Rajasthan were beautiful. Songs didn't reach audience but the background Score and title music is very good.
The way Mahesh delivered dialogues was humorous and entertaining. He was portrayed as a tapori(taxi driver) and when he gets angry no one was spared in the second half.Sunil, ali and bramanandam had done a very good job.
Though the initial talk about movie is somewhat negative, i have no doubt that it  might slowly pick up.

Brindavanam (2010)

A ‘nothing new’ film which might end up as one of the biggest commercial hits of this year.Even though the film is something we have seen hundreds of times (mostly in Venkatesh films), the first half holds an attractive pace .Most of the songs were catchy and well picturised too.Verdic:-)Don’t look for anything ‘new’, look for what we popularly say as ‘commercial entertainment’ and you will enjoy this one.

Endhiran (2010)

I got the chance to watch the movie 1st day of release at escape. And I don't want to reveal major storyline.Rajni and aish at their best. I must say the movie starts without the usual powerful entry sequence that Superstar Rajini gets. Highly unusual but there's a first thing for everything. A nice sci-fi movie for the Tamil audience. Haven't really seen this kind of a story in any of the movies so far. Nice screenplay. Absolutely lovable songs . The graphics are very decent and the work in climax scenes are damn good. Worth a watch !! Even twice. Even thrice.Shankar ,i must say has taken tamil cinema to a different level at par to hollywood!!!!
